My sister and her husband came to visit after Nate was born and we had a great time. They helped us decorate our Christmas tree. We also watched the movie, Elf, and it was great. Tommy and I watch that movie every year and it is just as funny as the first time.



We enjoyed watching Caleb decorate the tree this year and he loved it. He was really upset when it was all over and wanted to take them all off and do it again.





Tommy and Caleb have been bonding so much since Nate has come into our lives. I am always nursing the baby,at least it feels like it, and Caleb is left to play alone. Tommy has been great at making Caleb feel special in this transiton time and they have become so close. Their favorite thing to do is wrestle and play with the train set.

Caleb is enjoying his new little brother and kisses him all the time. I am not sure what Nate thinks of his big brother because he is always being startled by him in some way. He also gets poked in the eyes, hit in the head, smothered by a pillow, or sat on by Caleb; I don't think Caleb is very high up on his "nice list" right now. I hope that changes soon.

Thanksgiving in Prospect

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Tommy's family in Prospect, KY, which is about 20 minutes from our place. They rented a house for a few days there to be near us for Thanksgiving. I had just given birth to Nate so they were kind to come our way. I didn't take many pictures because baby Nate was eating every two hours and colicy. Caleb had a stomach virus and was throwing up, so I think I am excused for not taking many pics. Poor Caleb just laid around all weekend and watched cartoons. He would get up and play here and there but not for long because it would wear him out. Here is a pic of Honey and Caleb pooped!!! So cute.


Cousin Ashtin is getting in her lovin' as much as she can. Isn't she so cute???!!! She and her sister Brianna loved getting to hold Nate. We had a great time with them!!!

Colic, that is all I have to say!!!! It makes even a grown person cry!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding!

Nate is doing much better with the Colic. His stomach seems to be getting better everyday and he is sleeping like a champ at night. He is so precious and sweet. He has the sweetest cry and it is so soft. He loves to be held and is not as independant as his big brother. He would much rather snuggle with Mommy and I love it. I am savoring each moment with him because it passes by so fast and he is already getting so big. He is about 12 pounds now and not slowing down. He smiled a few times at me yesterday and tried to talk to me too. I am so thankful to God that he has blessed me with three sweet boys to nurture and love.

Caleb's Party

We had Caleb's Birthday Party two weeks after Nate was born. Here are just a few people that attended the party; we had an apartment full of friends.

I think Tommy was more excited about these trucks than Caleb. He will play with them even if Caleb is doing something else.

Maw Bea and Paw Paw

My mom and her husband came to stay a week after Nate was born and we had a great time visiting with them. Caleb loved all the attention he received from them and all the sweets that Maw Bea snuck him.


Here is Caleb opening one of his birthday gifts from Maw Bea. He loved his new trucks and plays with them all the time.

Nothin' like G-ma lovin!!!

My mom and the kids and I drove to the mall just to get out of the apartment for a while. Caleb loves playing on the electric cars there and bribed is grandma for money to ride. She gave in, of course, and he had a blast!

Six weeks old already.

Here are a few pics of Nate and he is six weeks old now. I thought you all might like to see how he is growing. I am trying to enjoy every moment with him because the baby stage doesn't last long. I am eating him up he is so cute.

Happy Birthday Caleb

Hello everyone!!! I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to get back on this computer. I have a great reason though!!! I lost our camera cord to load the pics onto the computer and just found it the other day. I had been so busy being a mom of two now, that I really didn't have time to look for it. So I am sorry. Anyway, Nate is 6 weeks old now and getting chubby! He is such a sweet baby and finally getting better. He has had colic and reflux but we are making it. Caleb is adjusting well. He loves his new brother but sometimes he lets him know when he has had enough of his crying. He says, "Nate, hush!!!" We are having a blast with our boys!!!

I have a lot of pics that I want to share here and there, so I will be updating often so you can enjoy them. Merry Christmas.
